Inventor seeking patent

Invented by: Andrea M.

Andrea M. has seen far too much ice cream going to waste after melting at social functions.
The experience brought more than a melted dessert, however; it sparked an invention idea.
Andrea invented the Ice Cream Cooler to prevent the loss or waste of ice cream during travel. She said traveling to various functions such as family gatherings, open houses and birthday parties brought good cause for ice cream but less-than-ideal conditions.

Invention helps restore antique furniture to original glory

Invented by: Charles R.

Inside Don’s Furniture Refinishing shop, Charles R. helps his son bring antique treasures back to their original glory. When the retired diesel mechanic couldn’t find the delicate moldings he needed to accomplish that, he did what he had always done—made them.
“I’ve made stuff all my life. Back in the days I was a diesel mechanic, I had to make wrenches that I couldn’t buy,” he said. “If I can’t find something I need, I improvise.”
While working with the small quarter round moldings of furniture and frames, Charles’s son found that the pieces would break off during the refurbishing process. He turned to his dad for help. “He said, ‘Daddy, I’ve got to do something. We can’t buy it, and we can’t fix it,’” Charles said.

Keep Off. Inventor hopes design will deter deer stand trespassers

Invented by: Glenn P.

Glenn P. likes to hunt, so when he learned that someone had been trespassing on his deer stand, he felt something had to be done.
In 12 hours, he had fashioned a lockout device for deer stand ladders.
“I designed this product to where it keeps people from climbing the stands,” Glenn said.
Glenn said he has had deer stands vandalized, even stolen, so there was clearly a need for some sort of locking device.
Presently, Glenn is working through Invent-Tech to find someone to license his Deer Stand Lock Out, as it is currently being called.
